Bublr Bikes Executive Director, James Davies, is leaving Bublr Bikes.
Bublr Bikes, the Milwaukee area’s non-profit bikeshare operator, announced that their Executive Director
James Davies will be stepping down on November 17 after nine years of service to the organization.
James will continue his steadfast commitment to our community taking a position as an Assistant
Corporation Counsel for Milwaukee County.
James has been with Bublr since 2014 and has been instrumental in all aspects of Bublr’s growth and
service to the community. In Bublr’s decade of existence, riders have logged over 617,804 trips as Bublr
has grown from one station to over 100 stations in Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, and West Allis. Since
stepping into the Executive Director role in 2019, James oversaw the introduction of adaptive bikes and
eBikes into the fleet and also adeptly managed the organization through the pandemic era.
The Board of Directors and staff are proud that James is able to advance his career in the legal field and
are deeply grateful for his nine years of dedicated service to the organization and the community. The
organization is indebted to James for his enthusiasm, boundless energy, and deep belief in Bublr as a vital
community service.
Bublr Bikes believes that bicycles are an accessible, convenient, and integrated travel option and is
